The Yemeni Forum in Belgium VZW took part in a high-level official meeting held at the headquarters of the UNHCR in Brussels, as part of the Umbrella Refugee Committee delegation.

This exceptional meeting brought us together with H.E. Barham Salih, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and former President of Iraq.

During the meeting, we highlighted the vital role played by the Umbrella Refugee Committee, chaired by Dr. Ahmad Wali Ahmad Yar . Dr. OTHMAN ALAIDAROS PhD was also given the opportunity to present an overview of the continuous efforts carried out by the Yemeni Forum in Belgium VZW, under the leadership of Mr. Waleed Al-Dahbali and his dedicated team.

The discussion shed light on the significant challenges faced by Yemeni and Arab refugees and asylum seekers across Europe, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts and sustainable support.

We extend our deep appreciation to all those working tirelessly to support refugee causes, and we look forward to continued collaboration and joint action in the future.
