By the grace and success granted by Allah, on June 3, 2025, Engineer Waleed Al-Dahbali was nominated to lead the Yemeni Forum in Belgium. This nomination received the unanimous approval of most of the association’s founders.
This significant decision came at the request of Dr. Othman Al-Aidaros, the forum’s founder and former head, who regrettably stepped down from his position due to professional commitments and lack of availability. On this occasion, we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Al-Aidarous for his devoted efforts and dedication in establishing and leading the forum during the past period.
Engineer Waleed Al-Dahabli earned the trust of his fellow founders due to his high competence, leadership spirit, and commitment to the values of teamwork. Based on this trust, he has been empowered to lead the forum and tasked with forming a new administrative body to guide its future endeavors. We look forward to seeing his leadership contribute to strengthening the forum’s objectives and expanding its activities.
Looking ahead, an agreement has been reached to lease a permanent headquarters for the forum. This represents a strategic step towards enhancing its stability and presence. This new location will serve as a prelude to officially opening membership registration for the association, working to expand the membership base to include as many members of the Yemeni community in Belgium as possible. Furthermore, preparations will be made to hold general elections to elect the next administrative body and the forum’s head, in accordance with approved regulations and bylaws, ensuring transparency and democracy in its operations.
On this joyful occasion, everyone extends their heartfelt congratulations and blessings to Engineer Waleed Al-Dahabli. We pray to Allah for his success and guidance in fulfilling his important duties, and that he contributes to developing the institutional work and serving the Yemeni community in Belgium, thereby achieving the forum’s noble goals and mission of strengthening community and cultural ties.
