Yemeni Forum in Belgium Participates in World Refugee Day 2026
The Yemeni Forum in Belgium participated in the World Refugee Day activities held at Place du Béguinage in the capital, Brussels. The event was part of a community festival celebrating cultural diversity and promoting the values of solidarity, coexistence, and integration among various communities.
During the event, which ran from 13:00 to 18:00, the Yemeni Forum presented a remarkable display of authentic Yemeni culture in its tent, including:
- An exhibition of photographs embodying Yemen’s rich history and ancient heritage
- A showcase of traditional Yemeni attire
- Serving popular Yemeni traditional food
- An introduction to Yemeni customs and traditions
The Yemeni tent won the admiration of both visitors and organizers, who praised the creativity and outstanding organization led by the Forum’s Secretary-General, Ms. Tahani Al-Amari, and the Head of the Projects Department, Eng. Ghadeer Abdulwahab.
The event was arranged and organized by humanitarian and community organizations, reinforcing the idea that culture is a bridge for communication and integration between peoples.
