The Yemeni Forum in Belgium participated in preparing a football team to represent Yemen in the 2026 Antwerp World Cup, hosted by the Municipality of Antwerp with the participation of 18 national teams divided into three groups.

The Yemeni team delivered an outstanding performance, topping its group with 13 points from four victories and one draw, achieving the highest score in the group stage.
Following this remarkable achievement, the Yemeni national anthem was played in celebration of Yemen’s first‑place finish and in honor of the team’s impressive performance.
